Volunteering at Pluk
As a volunteer you are part of a enthusiastic, ambitious team and you get a lot of responsibility and opportunities for your own input. In addition, you will of course receive eternal thanks from the public, a couple of tickets for the film, the freedom to do fun things, good food and drinks, a Pluk T-shirt, and after the festival: an epic drinks party!

We currently looking for help with:
First aid (EHBO) and BHV
Things don’t often go wrong (knock on wood) at Pluk, but we still think it’s important that a certified first aider is present on the festival site every evening. Do you have a EHBO certification (and also enjoy watching movies)? Then it would be great of you can help us out for a night (or more).
Producers for the production team
Pluk de Nacht will take place in Amsterdam and Utrecht this summer. In order to make this edition a success, we are looking for producers to join our production team. Are you the enthusiastic organizational talent we are looking for?
What As part of the production team, you will help with organising everything concerning to Pluk de Nacht: prior to the festival mainly from the office in Amsterdam, but close to and during the festival we will be on location. You try to keep an overview at all times and think in solutions. This is a volunteer position.
When It concerns this period (July-August) in the run-up to the festival. Your Pluk days can be arranged flexibly, but it is of course very nice if you can also help out during the festival (17 to 27 August).

Creative builders (and outfitting)
During the construction period, the plans that have been made take shape and everything is built up and decorated. A lot of things have to happen. From painting, tinkering, welding, weeding, to carrying, building and demolishing. Your creativity is appreciated and there are big jobs and small jobs for everyone. It is very much appreciated if the builders also come to help with dismantling for an afternoon.
Allrounders
Pluk de Nacht has many beach chairs and a few hundred blankets that are handed out to visitors. We work with a beach chair donation/reservation system that requires good organization. We are looking for people who like to help with this and who ensure that the distribution of chairs and blankets goes smoothly.
Are you good at a lot of things and do you enjoy helping out where necessary? Then sign up as an all-round volunteer. As an allrounder you ensure that the chairs are neatly set up, that the fire pits remain lit, you light the candles, you show people the way and you ensure that the terrain remains a bit tidy.
Bartenders
During the festival we operate two bars in Amsterdam and one bar in Utrecht. Every movie night, both bars are run by an enthusiastic team of bartigers. The good atmosphere of the festival is largely determined by the cheerful and friendly bar staff. Does this sound like something for you? It is nice if you have a little bit experience in the hospitality industry but definitely not necessary.
Handyworkers
We are always looking for volunteers to help on the technical side of the festival. Are you general tech savvy and do you pay attention to safety, and are you comfortable working in a dynamic festival setting? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for!
Runners
We are looking for volunteers that enjoy picking up and collecting all the missing parts to the festival site. You need a driver’s license, we will rent a production van
Daily Pluk reporters and photographers
During the festival, the Daily Pluk provides a daily report of all the highlights, backgrounds and joys and sorrows in and around the Stenen Hoofd. Can you elicit a sparkling quote from the director of one of the Pluk films with ease? Can you capture the atmosphere among the visitors in a few paragraphs? Or do you capture a festival day with a sharp eye in a series of beautiful pictures? Then sign up as a reporter or photographer for the Daily Pluk.
